The day was perfect this year. The crowd was a mangeable 104 and the temp was in the upper 80's not the 100+ we had at the begining of the week. The band as usual was outstanding and thanks to our NC tomato growers there were lots of wonderful tomatoes to taste and see. The last three weeks we had some violent thunderstorms that broke down and blew over nearly evey tomato plant I had. After the third storm I just gave up trying to retie and upright the plants. My only hope was the fruit that was on them would ripen in time for this year event. I did manage to harvest a descent number of varieties but nothing of any quality to brag about. Thanks Richard and Millard for all the great tomatoes and the help. Here are a few pictures.
